Box Score ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's soccer team fell to 8-7 on the season after suffering a 2-0 loss at Augustana College.

Elmhurst slipped to 2-4 in the CCIW with the loss and had its chances of a CCIW Tournament appearance dashed in the process.

After a scoreless first half, Augustana (11-3-3, 3-2-1 CCIW) struck for a pair of goals in the second half. Hannah Lohmeier scored just 2:51 into the second half to put the Vikings on the scoreboard. The Vikings tacked on an insurance goal in the 62nd minute when Kelly Farrell scored her ninth goal of the season off an assist from Somer Druszkowski.

Augustana outshot Elmhurst 16-12 in the contest and had a 5-2 edge in corner kick chances.

Emily Gordon took the loss for Elmhurst in the goal, allowing two goals while recording five saves. Meredith Chew earned the shutout for the Vikings with nine saves.
