Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Elmhurst women's soccer team suffered a 3-1 setback at Rhodes College, dropping to 6-2-1 on the season.

Rhodes scored three straight goals to open the game and put the game out of reach early in the second half.

Rhodes' Kelsey Keown scored in the 10th minute to put the Lynx on top 1-0. Hannah Selner made it 2-0 in the 40th minute, scoring off of an Elizabeth Wayda assist. Wayda scored less than five minutes into the second half to put Rhodes on top 3-0.

Elmhurst broke the shutout in the 77th minute when Emily Heimerdinger scored on a corner kick.

Rhodes outshot Elmhurst 14-12 in the contest.

Maddie Fitzpatrick recorded three saves in the loss.

Elmhurst opens CCIW play by hosting Carthage College on Saturday (September 29).
