Box Score AURORA, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's soccer team moved to 4-1-1 on the season after playing Aurora University to a 1-1 double overtime draw.

Aurora's Nicci Bermudes scored just 23 seconds into the contest and the Spartans made the goal stand up untl the 70th minute. Elmhurst's Jordin Clark scored the equalizer in the 70th minute to send the game to overtime.

Neither team could score in overtime and the two squads settled for the tie.

Elmhurst outshot Aurora 21-14 in the contest while Aurora held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.

Maddie Fitzpatrick recorded seven saves in net for the Bluejays while Liz Wong stopped 11 shots for the Spartans.

Elmhurst travels to Marian University on Sunday (September 16).
