Box Score WHEATON, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's soccer team scored a point in the CCIW standings by playing 14th-ranked Wheaton College to a scoreless double overtime draw.
Wheaton (12-2-2, 3-0-1 CCIW) dominated the pace of the contest, outshooting Elmhurst (7-4-3, 0-2-2 CCIW) 22-5, but Elmhurst's defense repeatedly turned away the Thunder. Elmhurst managed just one shot in the game's final 65 minutes.
The Thunder also enjoyed an 8-2 edge in corner kick opportunities.
Wheaton's best scoring chance came in the opening half when Annie Woolrdige's shot was swept out of harm's way by the Elmhurst defense.

Maddie Fitzpatrick recorded eight saves in goal to preserve the shutout for the Bluejays. Kelsey Graham stopped two shots in goal for Wheaton.
Elmhurst will look for its first CCIW win of the season when the Bluejays travel to North Park University on October 17.
