APPLETON, Wis. - Amy Baschen scored two goals and totaled five points to lead the Elmhurst College women's soccer team to a 3-1 road victory over Lawrence University.
Lawrence (0-3) jumped on the scoreboard in the 16th minute when Mallory Koula scored with an assists from Sarah Tiano.
Lawrence's lead lasted just 1:25 as the Bluejays scored the equalizer in the 18th minute.
Heather De Moss knotted the score at 1-1 with a goal off of an assist from Baschen.
Baschen gave the Bluejays a 2-1 lead just before halftime as she scored off of a feed from her sister
Katie Baschen.
Amy Baschen put the game away with just 58 seconds left on the clock when she knocked home a goal from a
Morgan Geimer assist.
Elmhurst controlled the tempo of the gave, outshooting Lawrence 16-1. The Bluejays didn't allow a Lawrence shot for the game's final 74 minutes.
Maddie Fitzpatrick earned the victory in net for the Bluejays while Cassandra Burke took the loss for Lawrence.
Elmhurst hosts Albion College on Sunday, September 11.
