NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Stephanie Thomson scored less than two minutes into the second overtime to lift the Elmhurst College women's soccer team to a 2-1 double overtime win over North Central College.

Elmhurst struck first in the 33rd minute when Heather De Moss tallied a goal off a Courtney Constantino assist. North Central evened the score in the 76th minute when Amy Frazzini scored an unassisted goal to send the game to overtime.

Thomson broke the tie just 1:18 into the second extra period when she scored off a Cassie Giese assist to give Elmhurst the win.

The Bluejays outshot North Central 23-7 and had a 7-1 edge in corner kick opportunities.

Jessica Eberle recorded three saves in net for Elmhurst while Elise Manzie stopped 14 shots in goal for the Cardinals.

Elmhurst hosts Aurora University at Berens Park on Wednesday, October 7, at 6:00 p.m.
