ELMHURST, Ill. - Elmhurst College's Joe Rau has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Wrestler of the Week for the second time this season.

Rau, a junior from St. Patrick High School, posted a perfect 4-0 record last week. On Wednesday, Rau made short work of North Central's Andrew Hiller, pinning the Cardinals' wrestler in 1:47 as the Bluejays blew past the Cardinals 34-11 in a CCIW dual.

On Saturday, Rau posted a perfect 3-0 record while competing at the Border Brawl duals hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Moving up a weight class at 197 pounds, Rau opened the day with an 8-0 shutout of UW-Stevens Point's Dustin Wozniak. Moving back to his natural weight class of 184 pounds, Rau knocked off ninth-ranked Sam Engelland 6-0 of UW-Oshkosh. He closed out the Border Brawl with a 2-1 victory over seventh-ranked David Dwyer of UW-Whitewater.

Rau is currently ranked third in the nation at 184 pounds and has a record of 25-3. He has not lost to a Division III wrestler this season.
