RESULTS

NORMAL, Illinois - The Elmhurst College men's cross country team competed at the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships on Friday, finishing 14th in the 26 team field.

Jake Austin led Elmhurst by running a time of 26:03, good for 87th in a field of 323 runners from all divisions around Illinois and 48th in the college division. Doug Vrchota completed the course in 26:30, placing 121st overall and 63rd in the college division. Also scoring for Elmhurst was Will Cross (27:15), David Melone (27:21), and Jeff Camp (27:22).

The Bluejays, who finished with a total team score of 381, will next compete on September 24 at Wheaton College in the Wheaton College Invitational.
