A 1992 graduate, Vince Doran was a record-setting point guard who in 1991-92 led the Bluejays to school-best records of 19-9 overall and 11-5 in the CCIW, and their first NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in men’s basketball. A four-year letterman, he finished his career as Elmhurst's leader in assists (375, post rule change), steals (156) and games played (105), and ranks among the all-time leaders in points (1,032), free throws (313) and blocked shots (52). Doran dished out 100 assists or more in a school-record three consecutive seasons (1989-90 through 1991-92). In 1989-90, he set a school record for steals (59). Doran was named MVP of the 1990 Press Publications Bluejay Basketball Classic.
