Stephanie Schuda was a three-time all-conference softball player who etched her name all over the Elmhurst record book. A 1999 graduate, Schuda was a three-time all-conference selection at catcher (1997, 1998 and 1999) and became the first Elmhurst player to earn all-CCIW honors for three consecutive seasons.
By the time her career came to a close, Schuda’s name was carved into the record book. She set single records for doubles and extra-base hits (three) while setting a single-season record for triples (six) that still stands today.
She closed her career as the College’s career leader in hits with 141 (now ranked third) and walks with 49 (now ranked second). Her career marks for doubles (39), extra-base hits (56) and total bases (209) continue to rank her at the top of Elmhurst’s record book. She also continues to rank second in career batting average (.386) and career slugging percentage (.576).
Schuda also ranked third in career runs scored (73 – now ranked seventh), and fourth in career RBI (71 – now ranked fifth).
