Elmhurst University Athletics

A 1974 graduate, Papoccia was an outstanding athlete lettering in football, baseball and golf. Papoccia established himself as one of the all-time football greats at Elmhurst in 1972 by setting the then single-season rushing record with 883 yards. He was named to the All-CCIW football team in 1972 and 1973. He served as the team's captain and was named most valuable player both his junior and senior seasons.
