A 2006 graduate of Elmhurst College,
Lindsay Johnson made the most of her two-year career with the Bluejay volleyball team. Johnson transferred to Elmhurst prior to her junior season and quickly became the team's starting setter. In her first season with the team, she helped guide the Bluejays to their fifth-straight CCIW Championship and a spot in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. She earned first-team All-CCIW honors and AVCA honorable mention All-America honors. In 2004, she led all of Division III and set an Elmhurst single-season record with 1,837 assists, a total that still ranks as the fifth-highest single-season total in Division III history under the 30-point rally scoring system.
As a senior, Johnson helped the Bluejays make their sixth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and earned AVCA Second-Team All-America honors while also being chosen as the CCIW's Player of the Year.
In just two seasons at Elmhurst, her 3,340 assists ranks second all-time while her 11.52 assists per game average is an Elmhurst record.
