A 1993 graduate, Jack Lamb was a two-time All-CCIW football quarterback who shattered nearly every school record for passing in a game, season and career. At the end of his career, Lamb had become Elmhurst's career leader with 461 completions, 989 attempts, 6,281 yards and 32 touchdowns, while passing for 1,000 yards or more in four consecutive seasons. He averaged only one interception for every 25 passes. His 6,023 yards in career total offense rank second in school history. Lamb set school records of 32 completions, 73 attempts and 442 yards in a 28-20 loss at Carroll College in October 1991. In 1991, he ranked 24th at the NCAA Division III level in total offense at 206.7 yards per game. His 1991 totals of 131 completions, 297 attempts and 1,908 yards were school records, as were his 1992 totals of 150 completions and 301 attempts. He passed for 1,141 yards in 1989 and 1,404 yards in 1990. Lamb was named All-CCIW second team in 1991 after leading the conference in both passing yards (1,708) and total offense (1,676), and All-CCIW honorable mention in 1992. He also was honored as Elmhurst's Male Athlete of the Year for 1992-93.
