A 2006 graduate, Eric Luna was a three-time all-conference selection for the Elmhurst football team.

Luna quickly established himself as the team's starting running back during his freshman season and he closed out his career as Elmhurst's all-time leader in rushing yardage.

A workhorse in the backfield, Luna became the first player in Elmhurst history to carry the ball over 200 times and score 10 or more touchdowns in three consecutive seasons. In 2004, he rushed for 1,083 yards, becoming just the third player in Bluejay history to eclipse the 1,000-yard rushing mark in a season.

Luna closed out his career as Elmhurst's all-time leader in carries (818), rushing yardage (3,561), points scored (266), and rushing touchdowns (41). He earned second-team all-conference accolades in 2003 and 2004 and was a first-team all-conference selection in 2005.
