Elmhurst University Athletics

Bill Walton coached the Bluejays' women's basketball, softball and volleyball teams from 1979 to 1986. Under his leadership, the volleyball team won the state championship in 1981 and won conference championships from 1982 to 1985. The Bluejays also won national championships in both 1983 and 1985. Walton's volleyball teams compiled a record of 211-55 for a winning percentage of .793.

His 1986 softball team won the Chicago Metro Conference Championship.

After Elmhurst, Walton went on to coach women's volleyball at the University of Houston.
