A standout on the track and field squad, Armin Dreusicke set an Elmhurst record in the broad jump (24-1.75) during the 1932 season. Dreusicke also set an Elmhurst record in the 100 meters during the 1933 season with a time of 10.89 seconds. The record stood for over 26 years until it was broken in the 1959 season. Dreusicke also lettered in football.
