RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's track and field team totaled 30 points to place eighth at the Concordia University-Chicago Cougar Invitational.
Elmhurst placed eighth out of 17 squads. Lewis University won the team title with 234 points.

Gabrielle Murdoch,
Emma McSpadden,
Liz Delgado and
Becky Garcia was the top scorer for Elmhurst. The team finished first with a time of 11:24.18.
The Bluejays scored 14 points in the 1,000 meters.
Becky Garcia placed second in the event in 3:34.24. Gabrielle Murcdoch finished just a fraction behind, crossing the finish line in third place with a time of 3:34.58.
Alaina Nebel added six team points with a third-place finish in the 5,000 meters. Nebel crossed the finish lin in 18:26.97.
Maria Dugo placed 20th in the 800 meters in 2:46.26 while
Hannah Davis placed 23rd in 2:48.20.
Emma McSpadden added a top-25 finish in the 1,500 by placing 24th in 5:39.50.
