Alyssa Poremba also received individual academic recognition from the USTFCCCA.
The Bluejays were one of 215 Division III women's cross country teams that earned All-Academic Team honors for the 2013 season. In order to be eligible, teams must have compiled a cumulative grade-point average of 3.10 or greater and competed in at least five different meets while registering a team score. The 2013 team award marked the 15th time the Elmhurst women's cross country team has been honored by the USTFCCCA.
Elmhurst compiled a cumulative 3.56 GPA and had the highest GPA of any of the eight College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin squads.
Poremba, an all-conference and all-region honoree for the Bluejays, was recognized with individual All-Academic honors from the USTFCCCA. Poremba registered a 3.92 grade-point average while also competing at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
