WINNECONNE, Wis. - The Elmhurst women's cross country team totaled 975 points to place 31st of 42 teams at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh's Brooks Invitational.
Grand Valley State won the team title with 40 points.Â
Sarah Melone was the top finisher for the Bluejays, crossing the finish line in 213th-place in 23:52.28.
Elyse Christofanelli finished the course in 220nd place in 23:55.51 while
Charlotte Murphy placed 232nd in 24:03.39.
Christina Rentner finished in 329th place in 24:54.81 while
Loredana Lappano completed Elmhurst's team score with a 369th-place finish in 25:21.58.
Stephanie Huwe (396th place in 25:45.04) and
Lily Velazquez (408th place in 25:53.49) rounded out the Bluejays' top-seven.
Elmhurst runs at the CCIW Championships on November 1.Â
